Relying on the stable and reliable 5G network, stable direct connections were established between 1,400 5G terminals and 2,000 industrial devices. By constructing a large-scale terminal management system, the project successfully resolved management, transmission, and compatibility challenges under massive access points. This robustly supports complex operations like multi-model mixed-line production, ensuring stable and collaborative operations in intricate production processes.
Production Flexibility: Achieving Dual Breakthroughs in Efficiency and Cost Optimization
Through intelligent collaboration of production equipment enabled by 5G technology, the project yielded significant results: overall production efficiency increased by 30%, production line changeover time was reduced by 60%, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improved by 25%. In terms of cost control, annual investment for new model modifications was reduced by 15 million RMB, shortened production-halt construction cycles saved 14 million RMB annually, line-side inventory decreased by 30%, and logistics costs were optimized by tens of millions of RMB annually.
