Hannover Messe 2021: AI-LINK CMO Dr. Rong explained AI-LINK’s 5G+Edge
From April 12th to 16th 2021, Hannover Messe, the largest industrial technology expo in the world was held online. Dr. Lee Rong (CMO of AI-LINK), was invited to attend the exhibition under the theme ‘the New Milestone of Industrial 5G’. Together with Dr. Andreas Müller, chairman of 5G-ACIA (the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation), the global trend of 5G and edge computing for Industrial IoT(IIoT) was discussed. Further, Dr. Rong explained the strategy of AI-LINK on IIoT, and explaining the latest engagement AI-LINK conducted towards Industry 4.0.
About "HANNOVER MESSE"
The Hannover Messe(HM; "Hanover Fair") in Germany was founded in August 1947, which has a history of 71 years. It is one of the world's largest trade fairs. The Hannover Messe exhibits have extremely high technical content, and are recognized as one of the most important platforms linking global industrial design, processing and manufacturing, technology application and international trade . Every year, it attracts more than 6,400 exhibitors from 60 countries and regions, also receives 200,000 visitors. In 2021, it was held online for the 1st time due to COVID-19.
Dr. Rong said that 5G wireless has the the characteristics of large bandwidth, ultra low latency, and the support of massive connections which fit well to the ever demanding requirements of IIoT applications. Further, today only large public cloud alone can no longer meet the ever-changing and complex requirement for IIoT needs, therefore a lightweight, more reliable, and edge cloud solution with openness is needed to empower enterprises operation, further improve efficiency and reduce costs.
As a pioneer, AI-LINK has consistently explored road to building a better 5G edge cloud.
